DENVER – A gay porn star arrested along the Mexican border in Arizona last week has been formally charged with murder in the slaying of a Denver businessman.
The Denver district attorney charged 25-year-old Timothy Boham on Friday with first-degree murder after deliberation, first-degree felony murder, and aggravated robbery in the killing of 43-year-old John Kelso, president of a Denver collection agency who was found shot to death in the bathtub of his home on Nov. 13.
Bonham starred in gay porn movies in 2004 and 2005 under the stage name “Marcus Allen,” according to the Rocky Mountain News. Some of his titles include “Never Been Touched” and “Ripe.”advertisement
Police have said they believe the two men knew each other, but a motive is unclear. One of Kelso’s colleagues told the News that the businessman hired Boham in early November and was training him as a debt collector for Professional Recovery Systems, the company Kelso co-founded.
Bonham was arrested by federal officials who spotted him in Lukeville about 10:40 a.m. Thursday, standing in the middle of a group of people attempting to enter Mexico and was loitering outside an inspection facility, authorities said.
Authorities are now trying to secure Boham’s return to Denver.
