Former Epstein house manager given 10 days to surrender journal Detailing Hooker Visits

from www.palmbeachdailynews.com – Alfredo Rodriguez, the former house manager for convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein [pictured], has 10 days to hand over a journal belonging to Epstein to attorneys representing some of the women suing the Palm Beach billionaire, a U.S. magistrate judge ruled today.

Rodriguez did not contest the attorneys’ subpoena for the journal, which is said to include names of girls who visited Epstein’s Palm Beach home on El Brillo Way for massages or sex.

If Rodriguez has given the journal to the federal government in his criminal case, he has three days to request it and then three days, once he has it back, to surrender it to Mermelstein & Horowitz, Miami civil attorneys representing seven victims.

Today’s order, from U.S. Magistrate Judge Linnea R. Johnson, says Rodriguez is to surrender “any and all journal, notes, diaries and writings relating to Jeffrey Epstein, including the journal described by Rodriguez to Palm Beach Police that contains the names of girls who visited the residence.”

Johnson declined to find Rodriguez in contempt of court “at this time.”

“We don’t know exactly what it’s going to say,” attorney Adam Horowitz said today, adding that Epstein has pleaded the Fifth Amendment to “literally everything” in the civil case so the journal should be “invaluable in our cases.”

Rodriguez, who worked for Epstein in 2004 and 2005, pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice for allegedly trying to sell the journal for $50,000 to an attorney representing Epstein victims. He faces sentencing June 18.

Epstein is on probation after being released from the Palm Beach County Jail in July. He served 13 months of an 18-month sentence on charges of procuring a minor for prostitution and soliciting prostitution.
