from www.bleacherreport.com – Former WWE diva Chyna had an eventful weekend, though not one that she will want to be bragging about to anyone. She was taken to the hospital on Sunday after collapsing at an adult entertainment expo in Miami, according to TMZ.
Former wrestling superster Chyna collapsed at a porn convention in Miami today and was taken to a nearby hospital … TMZ has learned … her third such episode in as many days.
We’re told Chyna made it to the convention center today, but passed out in the lobby and was taken to Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
It was the third reported incident involving Chyna. The previous two involved her getting kicked out of a party on Thursday when she and a friend jumped into a pool naked and Chyna passed out in the water.
The sad part of this whole ugly mess is, it really comes as no surprise. To anyone who has been paying any kind of attention to Chyna’s career since she left WWE in 2001, she has been on a serious downward spiral that doesn’t seem like will have a happy ending.
She has made a spectacle out of her life seemingly as a way to stay in the spotlight and prove that she doesn’t need WWE to be in the mainstream consciousness, but she is doing this at the expense of her health and well-being.
What do you really say at this point? Chyna seems to be going down the Scott Hall path, which is not one that anyone can last. It is a miracle that Hall has been able to make it 53 years on this earth with all the demons he has in his closet.
Chyna is clearly taking her cues from the problems that have plagued Hall, and it is not easy to watch play out. You can hope that at some point she decides her life isn’t going the way it needs to be and decides to get some help, but unless she sees this as a problem nothing is going to change.
If she can get a good support system around her to tell her that she is ruining her life and tearing up the people around her, perhaps a light bulb will go off. Sadly, history has shown us that isn’t likely to happen.
