Las Vegas- A striptease club owner at the center of a public bribery and corruption probe is trying to sell his two Clark County striptease clubs.
A county spokeswoman says Michael Galardi is actively trying to sell Jaguars and the Leopard Lounge. He originally had until Wednesday to give up business and liquor licenses,- but Galardi lawyers and county lawyers are still talking about the future of the businesses.
Galardi pleaded guilty September eighth to a federal charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud as part of a political corruption probe in San Diego. He’s also a target of a Las Vegas corruption probe that has gone to a grand jury but has not resulted in any public indictments.
Las Vegas is also reviewing Galardi’s licenses for Cheetah’s, a strip club inside city limits.
