New Bern, North Carolina- Pure Bliss store owner Greg Sakas says his business was picketed over the weekend. Sakas, who carries adult product, has been battling the city with a lawsuit over alleged police harassment. He has a court date regarding that suit this week.

According to Sakas, ABC affiliate Channel 12 in New Bern covered the story.

“They picked up on the story because the picketers refused to leave and we had to call the police,” states Sakas.

“The picketers refused to show their permits. This isn’t going to stop but as I’ve said to everyone they have a right under the First amendment just like we do. Hopefully, this story will help us rather than being negative towards us. We’ll see.”
