New Bern, North Carolina- Even though his case was tossed out of court, Pure Bliss store owner Greg Sakas still can’t get his adult inventory back satisfactorily from the city police dept. Sakas tried last week and was told, uh, try this week. Sakas leaves me the following message:

“We went Thursday to pick it up, we took a truck and a small van. They wanted me to sign off that we got everything,” says Sakas. “I refused to sign off on it. The three attorneys we’ve been using gave me an option of going through it with policemen there, piece by piece.”

Sakas wants an item-for-item accounting of every piece of merchandise that was confiscated in police raids of his store.

“This is probably going to take several days because this has been so haphazardly done as far as they’re taking inventory,” says Sakas. “The police refused to do that, and we refused to sign it. They left everything in front of the building- the movies, the toys and the magazines. To make a long story short they left all of this outside and told us to come back later when we decided what we were going to do.”

Sakas thought by leaving all this material outside it might get stolen but was assured such was not the case. Nonetheless Sakas wanted all the stuff put back in the holding facility and helped with that effort. Friday he hoped that everything would be finally resolved but felt certain there would be sex toys missing as well as movies and magazines.
