LONDON—Harmony, the United Kingdom’s largest porn retailer and adult studio, has made its hardcore “Young Harlots” line a public spectacle, involving civilian clubgoers in porn shoots.
“We hosted a party at a club here here in the West End of London and shot sex with the porn stars in and around the delighted public,” says director Gazzman, who flew James Deen from Los Angeles for the occasion.
“It was filthier than the Royal Wedding.”
Harmony, which won “Best Studio Brand” at last month’s ETO Awards, the prestigious trade event for the U.K.’s adult community, has launched Young Harlots Academy [http://youngharlotsacademy.com] with continually updated content, and continues to shoot the hard-edged glamour for which the studio has picked up several stateside adult honors.
The party footage from this and future events will be used in the “Young Harlots” and “Nymphomaniac” line. Joining Deen at the London event were Lou Charmelle, Megan Coxxx, Paige Fox, Kit Cox, and Tony DeSergio.
“We had to get people who were comfortable having sex in front of the general public,” says Gazzman. “There’s a difference between a controlled porn shoot, where everyone is a known commodity, and a London club. But Megan Coxxx and Kit Cox (no relation) went at it with gusto.
“Of course, we made sure that everyone identifiable on film signed a release,” he adds.
Harmony’s directors travel regularly to the United States, filming the likes of Tori Black, Bobbi Starr, Kimberly Kane, and Dana DeArmond opposite European talent, and also shoot Porn Valley’s finest across European hot-spots such as Prague, and Budapest for big budget productions.
“There is no country in the world as perverted as Britain,” says Gazzman, a Scot.
“We are happy to have been recognised by the ETO and are looking forward to continuing to showcase dirty girls—in the person of Megan Coxxx—on our next trip to America later this month.”
