Porn Valley- In a technically frazzled phone connection, Hollie Stevens was a guest of the Sports Swami last Friday. Stevens, who’s from Kansas City, Missouri, reported that she’ll be appearing in Vegas next month at the AEE show. Asked what such a signing meant for her career, Stevens answered truthfully, “A good chance to party in Vegas. But it’ll be good to meet fans and stuff and be able talk to them and see what they think about everything.” Stevens was asked why she went with L.A. Direct Models to represent her.
“They’re just a pretty good business, actually. They’re very organized and they always get the job done.” Asked what one does for kicks in her neck of the woods, Stevens said that’s why tailgate’ing’s popular. “There’s really nothing else to do around the winter time.” Swami imagined that Stevens probably gets hit on by a lot of drunks after sporting events. “We’re talking about some of the guys who are 40 years old,” he said. Stevens said that’s why she tends to avoid such events.
“But everyone’s there more for the sports than getting a piece of ass,” Stevens laughed. She also noted that her close relatives know about her involvement in the business. “My parents told me ‘you’re old enough to do whatever you want. We might not like it, but we want you to be happy with whatever you do.’ ” Stevens said she’d rather hear a comment like that than have conflict. “I’m sure they’d be real thrilled if I got out of it. But they probably think if they just go along with it I’ll think it’s not that cool.”
Asked what an average day was like on the set, Stevens said it was a matter of getting up very early in the morning and sitting in a makeup chair while someone’s messing with your eyes the whole time. “And being thrown a script- sometimes- with very strange dialogue.” Then, according to Stevens it’s a matter of being naked in front of a number of people not including the guy you’re working with. “But it’s very orderly how the sex goes- on the average it’s three different positions and then the pop shot.”
Stevens was quick to lend sympathy to the male performer on whose shoulders the scene rests. “It’s tough on the guy. They have to stop the camera and wait for the guy to pop. It’s kind of hard when you have cameramen and light people and stuff all standing around waiting on you. It’s kind of a tough job I think.”
In another of his preposterous love matchups, Swami tried linking Stevens with J.D. Drew of the St. Louis Cardinals, claiming that Drew had a crush on her. Stevens laughed heartily at the notion. Asked what it was like being a single and presumably a famous woman in Los Angeles, Stevens said she didn’t know what to say about it. “I just pretty much hang out with my friends, and that’s about it. L.A.’s a big city and everyone just kind of blends in with each other. No one really recognizes you or anything.”
Stevens was asked why she went into porn and responded by saying she really likes sex. “I guess. That’s a pretty good start.” Of any job she’s had, Stevens said the adult industry is probably the most comfortable one she’s found herself in. “Everybody’s pretty much laid back. Nobody’s ever uptight. It’s actually a fun environment to work in.”
At the age of 21, Stevens said she hadn’t thought about any long range goals. “For now I’m been thinking about owning my own house.” Stevens has also thought about going back to school but doubts whether she’ll experience anything as laid back to what she’s getting used to. Swami then put his habitual move on Stevens with her laughing it off stating, “I don’t think I’d be the right girl for you.”
