Lobert, who had been a $500-per-hour hooker in Las Vegas for 11 years, now leads an organization dedicated to getting prostitutes off the streets and started on a new lifestyle centered around Christianity. The 41-year-old stated on her website that she had finally found true love and announced that everyone was invited to view the wedding.
Annie Lobert met Oz Fox in February 2008. The musician is the lead guitarist for the band Stryper, a Christian heavy metal outfit that became famous in the 1980's with a string of hit albums and songs delivering a Christian message with all the excess of a hair metal performance. Stryper's Christian "gimmick" was the source of much controversy, but they paved the way for contemporary Christian rockers like Creed, Jars of Clay, P.O.D., and Switchfoot.
But Annie Lobert isn't the only person in the sex industry (or formerly so) that has married a heavy metal rocker. There seems to be a connection between the music genre and the adult entertainment industry.
Back in May 2007, Lukas Rossi, fresh off of a win on the competition reality show "Rock Star: Supernova," married porn star Kendra Jade. Rossi, because of his victory, became the lead singer of the band Rock Star Supernova (appropriately enough), which consisted of rock veterans Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Gilby Clarke (Guns N' Roses), and Jason Newsted (Metallica). Kendra Jade rose to fame through a series of adult films, such as "The Sopornos." The two were married at a Las Vegas chapel, according to Canada.com.
Porn superstar Tera Patrick is married to singer Evan Seinfeld of the heavy metal band Biohazard. Tera Patrick told Steppin' Out magazine in 2005 that all her adult films shot since her marriage to Seinfeld have been only with him (he appears as porn star Spyder Jones).
Patrick has starred in dozens of adult films (with and without her husband) and has her own website. Evan Seinfeld, besides moonlighting as a porn star with his wife and singing for Biohazard, also starred in the hit HBO show "Oz."
As for Annie Lobert and Oz Fox? She plans to continue her outreach ministry at Hookers For Jesus. He has a new album with Stryper set to be released in July.
