Former adult superstar Houston, famous for her prom date with a Howard Stern show radio listener, would like friends and fans to know she is battling an aggressive form of cancer. After a diagnosis of stage 3 metastatic melanoma, Houston had surgery at City of Hope in Los Angeles in early July and is looking at a summer of chemotherapy with the newly approved cancer fighting drug Interferon.

Houston writes on www.helphoustonfight.com : Im feeling a little better today and recovering from the surgery. If only that was it. Im not as sore and I can lift my arm more and more each day. Im spending another week or so in Los Angeles close to my doctors and then i will be returning to Las Vegas to start my Interferon therapy. Im ready but the more i learn about it, the more bad stuff i hear and im not looking forward to it, but i need to do it to live!
