from www.slyck.com – Just when you thought 20,000+ BitTorrent lawsuits wasn’t enough, 635 more are piled on. In a new round of lawsuits, LFP Internet Group (originally Larry Flynt Publications) filed their copyright complaint against the unnamed defendants for sharing the adult film “Barely Legal School Girls #6”.
The complaint was filed in federal district court in Dallas Texas by Evan Stone, the same lawyer working on the Lucas Entertainment lawsuits.
We examined the amended complaint submitted by Stone, and found some rather interesting ISP gateways. Usually, common ISPs like Verizon or ATT are named, however, with this movie we noted some business and possible military gateways listed as well:
ATT BCO ARMY RECREATION MACHINE
AAFES/Barracks
TERRA STAFFING GROUP
City of Lebanon – Lebanon Utilities
Mid Michigan Medical Center
Regardless of whether the accusations are true, we suspect that the City of Lebanon or Mid Michigan Medical Center are going to receive a few embarrassing letters in the near future. A motion for discovery has already been submitted by Stone, and considering the lack of opposition in the adult-oriented BitTorrent lawsuits, we suspect the plaintiff’s motion will be granted.
