from www.examiner.com – Larry Flynt first published Hustler Magazine in July 1974, and celebrates its 35th anniversary this month. This weekend, he hosted a private VIP party at the Santa Monica Airport, transforming Hangar 8 into Heaven (white lingerie, angel wings, playful nudes) and Hell (lots of red and black lingerie, leather, and kinky stuff: whips, chains, cages, the works).
Advice Goddess Amy Alkon has the first good (nude) party photo I see online, and reports:
The most interesting people at the party were those who looked like they didn’t belong — like two First Amendment lawyers doing a book for my publisher and a reporter who broke a very important story (but may not want to be known by Uncle Google for his attendance at this event). And yes, totally naked girls were everywhere.
I’m also loving this quote by Mark D. from the comments on the Advice Goddess post, which puts other recent anniversaries this year – Playboy’s 55th, Penthouse’s 40th – in context:
Hugh Hefner made nudity safe and accessible. Bob Guccione made it raunchy again. Larry Flynt made it hilarious.
XBIZ.com has some more details: Hustler celebrates 35th anniversary with grand gala
Sprouting up in the middle of the bar was a huge tree, ostensibly the Tree of Life, while a real-life Adam and Eve perched on a platform tempting each other to eat an apple…
Joe Francis got in on the action too. Partners with Flynt in asking the federal government for bailout money, Francis was having a great time and was constantly surrounded by super-hot women – you guessed it – showing him their boobs.
Also spotted at the event was MTV’s “The Real World” star Cyrus, Adam & Eve star Kayden Kross, X-Play’s Jeff Mullen and Scott David, adult director Ernest Greene, photographers Suze and Holly Randall, LFP president Michael Klein and director Luc Wylder.
Adult performers spotted cavorting with the crowd included Nina Hartley, Prinzzess, Krissy Lynn, Brooke Belle, Sindee Jennings, Jayden Cole, Sophie Dee, Leslie Foxx and Savannah Stern.
