from www.goldcoast.com.au – PRIVATE investigators are hunting the fiancee of fallen Gold Coast IT tycoon Daniel Tzvetkoff to recover debts, including a luxury V10 Audi.
Several agents are believed to be looking for the vehicle, the property of the National Australia Bank, and have been told to track down heavily pregnant Nicole Crisp on the Gold Coast to serve her papers.
Sources said the car, an S6 V10 Quattro, owned by BT Projects, the parent company of Intabill, was released by liquidator Kordamentha to the bank last year but was never handed over by the pair.
The car is registered until May 29 under Mr Tzvetkoff’s name and Hedges Avenue address. The same model sold at James Frizelle’s Audi dealership for $125,000 last year.
“We don’t want to trouble her, we just want the car,” said one source.
“She can just park it somewhere and tell us where it is.”
The push from investigators comes as Mr Tzvetkoff, 27, who faces up to 75 years in jail for allegedly laundering $543 million through illegal gambling transactions, remains in jail in the US after being refused bail.
Kordamentha liquidator John Park said a number of investigations were under way in relation to Mr Tzvetkoff that would be looked at in a public examination next month, in an attempt to find how Intabill collapsed with $180 million in debts.
He said the vehicle was a side issue as the car was released to the bank, and could be one of a number of smaller investigations taking place by private investigators trying to bring in debts.
A family friend yesterday said he had spoken to Ms Crisp about any debts last week in relation to the car but said he believed the couple did not owe much money to the bank.
“I think they want to know what is owed on it (so they can pay it off),” he said.
Friends said Mr Tzvetkoff was interviewed by airport authorities in Sydney and Los Angeles but had no idea of what was about to unfold.
They said he was interviewed by Australian Customs at Sydney Airport and was later interviewed by Customs authorities at Los Angeles International Airport.
