SANTA MARIA, Calif. – A weepy Wacko Jacko begged the mom of one of his alleged sex victims to let her son sleep with him – then gave her a gold Cartier bracelet the next day, the woman testified yesterday.

“He [Michael Jackson] was sobbing, crying, shaking, trembling,” said the woman, whose then-13-year-old son later wound up reportedly receiving more than $23 million from Jacko in a now-infamous, out-of-court settlement.

“He said, ‘You don’t trust me. We’re a family . . . There’s nothing wrong. There’s nothing going on. Don’t you trust me?’ ”

The woman told the riveted court that against her better judgment, she finally relented.

But the move led to a sickening slippery slope in the relationship between Jackson and her son, she said.

Jacko wound up suddenly appearing on the family’s Santa Monica doorstep at least 30 times in the next three months, arriving just as her son would get home from school and then spending the rest of the afternoon and night with him, she said.

The pair would sleep together in her son’s bedroom, the woman said.

When she would confront Jacko about her uneasiness over their growing relationship, the mom said the singer would act distressed over her questioning their “family.”

At one point, the woman testified, Jacko and his lawyer forced her to sign a cryptic agreement to get her to temporarily relinquish custody of the boy.

“He [Jackson] was frantic. He was begging me to sign it so there wouldn’t be any lawsuit,” said the woman without further explanation.

She said Jackson was urging, “Sign it! Sign it!”

The woman said her son first met the singer in late summer 1992, after Jackson rented a vehicle from her now-ex-husband’s car-rental shop.

Within two months, Jacko and her son’s initial 10-minute phone conversations turned into 90-minute gab sessions, she said.

In March 1993, Jackson invited her and her son to Las Vegas, where the three shared a luxury, three-bedroom suite at The Mirage.

Their second night there, she said Jackson and her son approached her, both crying, with Jackson embarking on his rant about why she wouldn’t let him sleep with her son.

“Why are you not allowing [the boy] to be with me?” Jacko demanded to know through tears.

“He is with you,” the mom said she responded.

“In my bedroom,” Jackson said, according to the mom.

“This is not right,” the woman said she replied.

But she said that after a half-hour of wrangling, she finally gave in.

The next night, while at magician David Copperfield’s show, she said Jackson gave her the pricey bracelet.

Later that year, she said, she got upset about all the time her son was spending with the singer.

“He [her son] started dressing like Michael, he started acting withdrawn, sort of smart-alecky – not as sweet as he was,” she said.

Under cross-examination, Jackson’s lawyer got the woman to admit that she hasn’t spoken to her son in 11 years, a fact that seemed to stun an elderly female juror.

The alleged victim, now 25, is not slated to testify.

Jacko is on trial for allegedly molesting a teen cancer patient at his ranch in 2003. That boy’s mom could take the stand as soon as today.
