Jackson, Mississippi- Jackson police continue the crack down on strip clubs.

Friday night, Babes Show Club on South West Street and Secrets Adult Book and Video on East McDowell Road were shut down by police. Sergeant William Gladney with vice and narcotics said the clubs were operating without an adult entertainment license. Gladney said the department’s sign and license division reported the businesses did not have proper licenses.

Managers of both clubs were presented with letters and closed. Attorney Harry Rosenthall, who represents Secrets Two, told WLBT Friday night that he has documentation that Secrets is properly licensed and should remain open.
