Scottsdale, Arizona- The Scottsdale city council delayed its review of an ownership change at Babe's Cabaret, a topless bar in south Scottsdale recently purchased by adult film mogul Jenna Jameson and other X-rated film producers. Babe's has applied to the state Department of Liquor License and Control to transfer its liquor license to the new owners.
The council can oppose the change, though the state has final say.
Jerry Lewkowitz, the strip club's attorney, requested the delay to allow Babe's to respond to allegations made in an anonymous e-mail to council members that Jameson was allowing illegal activities at the topless bar.
