Judas Priest Drummer Given Jail Sentence on Sex Charge

England- Mr. Holland’s Anus will be on full view now that David Holland, former drummer with hard rock band Judas Priest was given an eight-year jail sentence today by a British court for the attempted rape of a 17-year-old boy while he was giving the teenager drumming lessons.

Holland, 55, was convicted last month of one charge of attempted rape and five counts of indecent assault at his rural home in Northamptonshire, northwest of London, between June and December 2002.

Sentencing Holland at Northampton Crown Court, Judge Charles Wide said the victim “was a boy with a very, very troubled past”.

“You planned this abuse by grooming his parents and him through the careful construction of the opportunity to abuse and … by giving him cigarettes, alcohol and porn,” the judge told Holland.

“You must never work with children again.”

Holland joined Judas Priest in 1979 and played with them for the next 10 years in their heyday.

The band, based in Birmingham, reached number 12 in the British charts in 1980 with two records, Living After Midnight and Breaking The Law.
