The X-rated film, by Goodnight Media, features “Katy Pervy” in a blue wig, “Lady Gagger” sporting a condom dress, red-head “Rihandjob”, a scruffy “Russell Gland”, and “Snoop Dong”, who shares a passionate interlude with a character called “Ka$ha”.

Talking about the kinky video, director Lee Ron Myers said: “There is nothing stranger and funnier and sexier than seeing a Katy Perry lookalike having sex with a puppet, and having that turn into a man in a giant red and fuzzy puppet suit.

“That scene will be etched in my memory for years to come. That’s my favourite part.”

The 33-year-old film-maker added that he felt it was the perfect moment for him to make the movie.

“I’m old enough to have grown up watching the Muppets and I’m young enough to get the Katy Perry phenomenon. I’m just the right age to make a porn parody combining the two,” he said.

According to Goodnight Media’s website, the adult flick follows Katy Pervy on “an XXX adventure, from her cleavage-filled appearance with everybody’s favourite red puppet, Elmer, to kissing a girl and liking it so much that it evolves into a hot and heavy lesbian party!”

Myers claims Katy Pervy: The XXX Parody Adult DVD – which costs $24.29 from www.goodnightmovies.com – has been selling like hot cakes so far.

“It looks like it could be one of Goodnight Media’s best selling movies this year,” he said.
