from www.msnbc.msn.com – The thumb drive Josue Rivera, 38, gave a Bridgeport funeral director to play at a service was supposed to be a memorial slideshow of the person who had passed away. Instead, it contained dozens of images of child pornography, according to the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.
They arrested Rivera of Bridgeport on Tuesday and charged him with first-degree possession of child pornography.
The arrest comes almost 10 months after an employee of Luz de Paz Funeral Home reviewed the drive, saw it was no memorial tribute and called Bridgeport police, the Connecticut Post reports.
Police seized Rivera’s home computer and found as many as 153 files they believe are child pornography depicting 35 children, including three videos, the Post reports.

The artist allegedly provided a thumb drive to the Luz de Paz funeral home that was supposed to contain images of a person for an upcoming funeral. Instead, when the funeral home employee looked at the files on the drive, he reportedly found thirty-three images of child pornography.
One of the pictures on the usb drive appears to be the defendants’ niece, according to CT police.
Rivera’s home computer was then taken by police, and they reportedly discovered 150 images and 3 videos containing child pornography.
Under his pen-name Justiniano, he most recently worked for DC Comics on an issue of Brave and the Bold, and a story in Doom Patrol. He was scheduled to appear at Wizard’s Big Apple Comic-Con Spring Edition May 21-22, 2011.
