New York [ANI]- Socialite and Paris Hilton’s former BFF Kim Kardashian may have proclaimed her innocence when her sex tape hit the internet, but it seems that she wasn’t really surprised at all, for she knew all about it.

Kardashian has apologised to people, and told Complex magazine that she was sorry for not being ‘honest’.

“I really didn’t think [it] was coming out. I apologize for not publicly being honest … but I felt like at the time that’s all that I could have said,” the New York Daily News quoted her, as telling the mag.

Kardashian filed a lawsuit against Vivid Entertainment when the company revealed that it was going to release the sex video she made with then-boyfriend, Ray-J.

The socialite had previously denied that she had any knowledge that such a tape, that has now been titled “Kim Kardashian Superstar”, even existed.

Meanwhile, Vivid has insisted that despite the lawsuit, the company would be more than happy to welcome Kim into their ranks.

“Kim has all of the qualities that we look for in a Vivid Girl. She’s both beautiful and well-spoken which is a rare combination. In fact, if she was a Vivid Girl I might have cast her as ‘Debbie’ in our ‘Debbie Does Dallas…Again’ TV series which debuts [Friday] night at 11pm on Showtime,” said Steven Hirsch, Co-Chairman of Vivid.
