Las Vegas- “Everybody was in tears,” is the way Selena Steele described the events of the Legends of Erotica Show Friday night at Ray Pistol’s Showgirl Video, www.xxxdeepthroat.com .

There was the induction of Henri Pachard, Mai Lin, Lynn Lemay, Johnny Keyes, Angel Kelly and Shayla LaVeaux, of course, but Steele says what tugged at the house’s collective heart strings was the memorial wreaths presented on behalf of the late Jim Holliday. Steele, who co-hosted the event along with Bridgette Monroe, says that what made the scenario all the more emotional was the fact that it was Holliday who inducted Steele into the Legends of Erotica.

Monroe also described the event as wonderful. “I had never seen so many legends on one stage. It was the best Legends show, ever. It was so great.” On another note, Monroe said she never laughed so hard as when she read a portion of my interview with porn legend Mai Lin. “How the hell did you make it through that interview without laughing? We were dying.” Monroe said she wanted to give Mai Lin a stick so she could write in the dirt after Lin made a comment about lagging in computer expertise because of the keyboards changing. “That’s the funniest interview I ever read in my life. And the pipe bomb in the car and it shook the car? Our sides were hurting.”

Steele and Monroe said they walked by Summer Haze’s booth Friday and thought Haze was going to die, particularly after the Internet name-calling war that had been waged a couple of months ago. In fact it was some of those names that Haze was calling Monroe and Steele that prompted Bill Margold to drop her as host of the Legends show.

“We had Amber Lynn, we had the club owner from Stagedoor Johnny’s with us,” relates Steele. “Oh my God, Craig and Summer looked like they were going to fucking faint.” Steele also reports that she and Bridgette Monroe had auctioned themselves off on stage Friday night on behalf of PAW.

“First we were just going to have lunch with a guy. Then the bidding started at $55-$75. I thought that’s not enough money for Bill. Then I said, okay, this is the deal. You come to our hotel room and you bring your camera and you shoot a girl-girl photo set of me and Bridgette Monroe together with toys. We got $475. We’re going to do that today, but they can’t touch us. I don’t do that. There’s no hanky-panky. I don’t do that shit. But the Jim Holliday-thing, everyone was crying.”

> Inari Vachs took a few moments Friday to chat with the KSEX, www.ksexradio.com crew during the AEE show. Vachs mentioned that she had been pretty much out of the business for the past year. Chloe, who was asking some of the questions, noted that out of a number of performers who made pacts not to get boob jobs, it’s only she, Vachs and Stephanie Swift who seemed to have stuck to their guns. “We’re the only three left of the itty, bitty titty committee.”
