from www.nydailynews.com – When it comes to porn, Lindsay Lohan trumps Angelina Jolie.

Director Matthew Wilder has hit out at reports that Sarah Scott, star of “Days of our Lives,” is replacing the troubled starlet in “Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story.”

“I don’t know how this story started but I even took a call from a very upset Dina Lohan [Lindsay’s mother] and I had to tell her that there was no need to panic,” he told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday.

Wilder said that neither he nor the producers of the biopic have met with Scott and are standing by Lohan – who was released from jail early Monday morning, two weeks into her 90-day sentence over violating probation following a 2007 DUI.

“Look, even if Angelina Jolie wanted the role we would still be sticking with Lindsay Lohan, I can’t make myself any clearer than that,” the filmmaker told RadarOnline.com.

According to eonline.com, “Inferno” is set to star shooting in November, when LiLo has completed her 90-day rehabilitation program at UCLA Medical Center.

Wilder’s indie biopic about the porn star who launched the xxx industry as we now know it is being pegged as the 24-year-old actress’ chance at a comeback after years of legal troubles and B-movie fare like “I Know Who Killed Me.”

Tyler Shields, the photographer behind “Inferno’s” promo shots, released new photos this week of the actress in character.

Though some of the images appeared earlier this year in stylized posters for the film, this is the first time the snapper is revealing his original shots from the series.
