VENICE, CA – While most Californians were still deep in their dreams early this morning, Lisa Ann was up and readying herself for an interview with popular television show Inside Edition. It’s day two of a media onslaught that began with Hustler’s release of Who’s Nailin’ Paylin? last fall and intensified with yesterday’s release of Eminem’s video for “We Made You,” which features Lisa Ann made up as the governor of Alaska.
The role has added an unexpected explosion in what was already a hall of fame career.
“I knew it was going to be a big part for me, but if anyone would have told me I’d be in an Eminem video or on Inside Edition, I would have told them they were crazy!” she said. “I feel like I’m living someone else’s life.”
The Inside Edition interview covered everything from her adult career to her political leanings to the story about appearing in the Eminem video.
“I sat in bed with my laptop last night and must have watched the video 75 times,” she said. “It may be the coolest thing that I’ve ever done.”
The video premiered yesterday on MTV and MTV2 ran a making-of feature yesterday that is also airing today. Joseph Kahn, who also made Wu Tang Clan’s “Gravel Pit,” Sisqo’s “Thong Song” and the Pussycat Dolls “When I Grow Up,” directed the video.
The video can be seen on MTV.com at http://www.mtv.com/videos/eminem/368090/we-made-you.jhtml#id=1608645.
Inside Edition is a syndicated program that airs KCAL channel 9 in Los Angeles. In LA the show will air today at 3:30 PST. The Inside Edition website (http://www.insideedition.com/) has a show locator.
