Investigators are hunting for a gorgeous Brooklyn blond suspected of being the No. 2 for accused millionaire madam Anna Gristina, a police source told the Daily News.

Jaynie Mae Baker, a 30-year-old stunner who worked as a recruiter for an upscale matchmaking service, is Gristina’s co-defendant, suspected of helping build her high-priced hooker ring, well-placed sources said.

Baker had been working for VIP Life, a boutique matchmaking firm that pairs wealthy men with refined ladies.

“I’ve known her for years and she seemed like a sweetheart,” said VIP Life founder Lisa Clampitt.

“She’s very sweet. She’s very social. She’s always going to charity functions.”

Clampitt said Baker has biked across India to raise money for orphaned children and helped her sister raise money for her Texas-based animal shelter, the Shelby Shelter.

“If she sees a homeless person on the street, she’d go get them a meal,” said Clampitt.

“She’s that kind of person. You have to like her for those types of things.”

Baker’s LinkedIn profile said she has worked for the company since 2007, but Clampitt said she only began six months ago and hasn’t referred a single client.

As a contractor for VIP Life, Baker would get paid a finder’s fee if she referred an eligible bachelor or bachelorette who signed up with the agency.

News of Baker’s charges stunned one of her close pals.

“She’s watched my daughter. She’s the greatest person,” the friend said. “I find it very sad. I don’t believe it at all. Not true.”

Baker and her sister, Jessica, bought a condo in Williamsburg last September for a little over $1 million, records show.

Clampitt said she believed Baker was in Los Angeles, helping Jessica get settled into a new apartment.

Baker, who had been in a long-term relationship with a wealthy investment banker, traveled frequently. How she was supporting herself remained a mystery to Clampitt.

“She’s not a blabbermouth about details of her life,” Clampitt said. “She keeps things low-key.”

According to Baker’s Facebook page, she co-hosted a fund-raiser for the Shelby Shelter with Gristina last fall at 49 Grove, a West Village hot spot.

Baker attended Broward Community College in Florida and the Fashion Institute of Technology, according to her LinkedIn page.

“Have tried many things but have learned sitting at a desk pulls the energy from my soul and thus not for me,” she posted on LinkedIn.

“Like to spend focused attention working for a couple hours then out to enjoy the day.”
