TOLEDO, Ohio from www.abclocal.go.com — An adult entertainment business in downtown Toledo has been raided. Investigators say the alleged sexual acts performed inside this business carry health and safety concerns for the staff and patrons.

Marilyn’s on Monroe Street is a strip club. It was raided by the Ohio Investigative Unit working off an anonymous tip.

Benjamin Gates, 32, was taken into custody. He faces three felony drug charges, along with other misdeameanor charges.

Investigators issued arrest summonses for several others.

Krystal Honsberger, 26, of Toledo is charged with illegal sexual activity in a sexually oriented business.

Tamela Mitchell, 19, is charged with soliciting prostitution and two counts of illegal sexual activity in a sexually oriented business.

Johnny Gewarges, 29, of Brownstown, Mich., is charged with five counts of illegally operating a sexually oriented business.

Douglas Collins, 21, and Joshua Davis, 31, both of Toledo, were also charged with possession of marijuana.

Agents also filed charges with the Liquor Control Commission. It’s possible the strip club owner could face a fine, suspension or have his license pulled.

A manager at the strip club declined to comment on the raid.
