Mirror Perv Busted

New York- Suffolk County police have busted a Long Island man after he was caught on tape using a mirror to look up a teenage girl’s skirt at a department store in the South Shore Mall.

Galo Mosquera, 41, of Bay Shore, was charged with unlawful surveillance after security cameras caught him walking up to a jewelry counter at Lord & Taylor, where a 14-year-old girl was shopping with her mother on Thursday evening.

Store security cameras saw Mosquera look over the merchandise before reaching into his pocket and taking out a small mirror, which he used to look under the girl’s skirt, Suffolk police said yesterday.

Security personnel detained Mosquera and held him until police arrived.

He was charged with one count of unlawful surveillance in the second degree, a felony, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Mosquera was held overnight at the 3rd Precinct and arraigned at 1st District Court in Central Islip yesterday.
