from www.associated content.com – Just a few days ago, TMZ discovered that Montana Fishburne, daughter to Hollywood A-Lister Laurence Fishburne, almost had her sex tape train-to-success derailed by a group of her father’s friends.
In an exclusive video interview with TMZ Saturday, she revealed that she was glad her sex tape wasn’t “jock blocked” by her father’s buddies, who were apparently attempting to save him — and his daughter — the embarrassment of the video’s release. Montana Fishburne said she was “happy” that their plans didn’t work out and that she was proud of herself, her body, and wants her family to be proud of her as well.
“I want people to see it,” she said. “I want people to buy my movie.”
And it looks as if people will get to, because Laurence Fishburne’s friends, headed by hired attorney Yale Galanter, went to Vivid Entertainment with a reported $1 million-offer to stop the distribution of the sex tape video — and couldn’t. Galanter reportedly went straight to the head of of Vivid, Steven Hirsch, with the offer to buy up all copies of the sex tape and stop its release, but the timing was off. Hirsch didn’t turn him down.
“It’s true that we had several conversations with Mr. Galanter,” Hirsch told TMZ. “We would have stopped shipment but it was too late. We continue to have the utmost respect for all involved.”
Montana said she learned about her father’s friends’ attempt on TMZ via her iPnone. She laughingly said it was “crazy” and that making the sex tape was something she wanted to do. She also noted that she understood that the friends had done it out of “concern” for her father, but she was “happy” they weren’t successful.
During the video interview, Montana Fishburne’s reported boyfriend and alleged pimp, aspiring porn star Jeremy Greene, hovered at her shoulder.
A self-described friend of Montana’s who knew them both has alleged that Greene completely controls the 19-year-old’s life, keeps her on the street as a prostitute, and introduced her to the porn industry.
In a video interview posted on CarltonJordan.com, the friend also alleges that Montana Fishburne doesn’t enjoy working in the sex industry, but is just doing what her boyfriend asks of her.
When asked why it was important to her that her father to be proud of her, the budding porn star said she wanted her entire family to be proud of her, regardless of her chosen profession, whether it be a “taboo” sex tape star or a doctor. She said she was proud of her work.
But her father apparently is not. She told TMZ a few days after the shocking Vivid announcement that she was releasing a sex tape that her father had known nothing about her career choice, which she claimed was inspired by the success of Kim Kardashian and the way Vivid Entertainment had handled the release of her sex tape. She also said she heard he was “hurt,” “upset,” and “angry.” But she hadn’t talked with him herself.
She still hasn’t.
Although it is unknown if Laurence Fishburne knew about the $1 million attempt to stop the sex tape video release before it became news, his silence on the entire matter speaks volumes. Montana might appear to be “happy” about the release of her fast-track gamble at success, but it does not look as if her Oscar-nominated father shares her enthusiasm.
