More on the Tanya Tate “Sex Scandal” Involving Footballer

from www.dailymailco.uk – A young hurler has caused uproar by starring in a sex tape with a British porn actress.

Greg Jacob, from Davidstown near Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, had a liaison with Tanya Tate – in a camper van.

While he strongly denies the allegations, an online trailer for Miss Tate’s Sex Tour Of Ireland video shows a man with a striking resemblance to the GAA player knocking on her motor-home door before embracing the X-rated star.

Locals in the sporting community have identified the man in the video as Mr Jacob. But when asked about the tape, he said: ‘It’s all rubbish, I don’t know why people are ringing me. I have no comment. I’m not talking to anyone.’

Asked twice if he was denying having sex with Miss Tate for the Television X series, he said, ‘yes’. Miss Tate could not be reached for comment last night while Television X bosses declined to make a statement.

The porn channel is believed to have aired the clip in recent weeks, prompting speculation among Wexford GAA officials that they have an alleged porn star among their players.

One senior member of the GAA county board told the Irish Mail on Sunday that high-ranking officers were aware of the claims but, however, they had not discussed the matter officially.

He said: ‘ I don’t know for certain but as they say, the dogs in the street are barking it down here. It wasn’t brought up officially anywhere. Having said that, everybody was talking about it at matches at the weekend. Everybody was talking about it.’

Yesterday, this newspaper also spoke with Mr Jacob’s younger brother Alan, who works in a sports shop in Enniscorthy. When he was told that the MoS would be linking his brother Greg to the sex video, he replied, ‘Oh that idiot’, but declined to comment any further.

Told that the video showed his brother in the film Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour Of Ireland, he later said: ‘Greg’s very upset about this. I’m not going to say anything else.’

Greg Jacob has played both hurling and football for Wexford, and was part of the line-up that played Dublin in last year’s Leinster hurling semi-final. He injured his finger in recent months and is no longer thought to be on the panel.

In the past, he has also played rugby for Carlow. Last night, Michael Hayes, the chairman of Mr Jacob’s local GAA club, Davidstown-Courtnacuddy, said: ‘Look whatever happened it’s a personal issue with the guy.

‘It has nothing to do with the club. And no one here involved in Davidstown-Courtnacuddy will be talking to anybody.’
