www.examiner.com – This was, perhaps, inevitable: Today adult film studio Adam & Eve Pictures announced it has cast porn star Tyler Knight [pictured] as Tiger Woods and Kayden Kross as his wife Elin Nordegren in a porn parody of the sex scandal of the week.
The rest of the media and many of my fellow Examiners have been all over this story, so I’ve mostly kept quiet on it before now: For the most part I try to present a sex-positive outlook wherever possible, and I tend to agree with Woods that such matters as extra-marital affairs ought to be treated with some degree of respect to privacy.
Still, this story has sparked some interesting discussion about sex, celebrity, secrets, scandals, and sexual addiction, and has taken so many ridiculous twists and turns that any notion of “privacy” now appears to be out the window for this very public figure. The still-unfolding story has provided some good fodder for the late night comedians and blogerati, and will now be fodder for the unstoppable powers that seem to be able to produce these porn parodies on a moment’s notice.
Knight won Heartthrob of the Year at the 2009 Good For Her Feminist Porn Awards, and won an AVN Award for Best Group Sex Scene, for his role in Icon. He has starred in more than 100 adult films since 2003; California Exotic Novelties sells a sex doll replica of the porn star (see slideshow below)
Director David Lord is shooting Tiger’s Wood and aiming for a February release date.

“Tyler Knight is the only actor who could play this part,” Lord said. “I thought of him immediately when we were writing the script. Once Tyler signed on, everything immediately fell into place.”
Meredith Christopher, executive producer for Adam & Eve Pictures, said the project is “a natural.”
“Every day, there seems to be some new development or girlfriend exposed, and it really has captured the attention of the public,” she said. “That’s what we want to focus on with ‘Tiger’s Wood.’”
So far, 10 women claim to have been mistresses to the golf legend.
