Morgpie and Zander Small have launched a new content-protection service called Fanlock, aimed at helping digital content creators prevent leaks of paid content.
Background on Fanlock
According to sources, Morgpie and Zander Small are behind the brand-new content-protection service for digital content creators across various sectors. The tool is especially geared toward preventing potential leaks of paid content from digital sex workers.
The platform, Fanlock.com, enables content creators to mitigate copyright infringement and intellectual property theft, including for protected works such as fetish clips and other self-produced NSFW digital content.
How Fanlock Works
Small, the chief technical officer and a co-founder of Fanlock, explained that the platform scans Google search results, social media platforms, messaging services, content piracy and "leak" sites, and other places where stolen content may appear. The tool is designed to automate leak and deepfake takedowns across Telegram, Google Search, and more than four million websites.
Small stated that he came at the problem from a different angle, having organized creator events and seen firsthand how piracy affects creators. He noted that Morgpie had previously paid thousands of dollars a month for services to root out and take down her stolen content, but that still wasn't stopping thieves from ignoring DMCA notices.
Launch and Impact
Fanlock has launched to help independent creators protect their work from piracy. Since its launch on February 1, Morgpie and Zander have removed over 250,000 hijacked posts using the service.
The platform boasts a combined following of more than two million fans across multiple platforms, with both influencers realizing they suffered from the same problem: their content was being stolen, sometimes even deepfaked, and reposted on piracy websites, Telegram channels, forums, and social media apps.
