Motley Models owner Dave Rock resigned from his position with the agency, effective immediately, following allegations made by former adult performer Aurora Fox. Fox claimed Rock secretly recorded video footage of her without her consent while she was staying at his house.

Rock's Resignation and Fox's Allegations

Dave Rock, who founded Motley Models in 2010, resigned from the agency on September 16, 2023. This resignation came after Aurora Fox shared an Instagram reel on Friday, September 15, 2023, which she stated contained video footage secretly recorded by Rock. The video, posted on Fox’s Instagram page @marleywallace, shows Fox wearing lingerie and appearing to look at herself in a mirror.

In her Instagram post, Fox stated, "My first agency in Cali-Dave Rock @MotleyModels #invasionofprivacy I never gave Dave permission to spy on me in my room or record me changing in the bathroom." She also claimed that Rock had numerous videos of her stored in a Dropbox. Fox's post further alleged that Rock "zooms in on my ?" and questioned, "How many girls has he taken advance of?" She described Rock as "completely a monster in how he yelled at me and degraded me," and stated he told her, "You have no clue who the f I am!" Fox also mentioned that Rock encouraged her to stay at the "model manner" and told her she could trust him, but never gave her the code to leave the house, unlike other models. She characterized him as "very purposefully mean and hurtful," and said he "freaked out on me for walking outside."

Motley agent Ryan Kona confirmed Rock's resignation on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Kona stated, "Yes Dave is out and the agency is going through a rebranding process at this moment effective immediately." Kona also indicated, "Right now I’m handling everything with the agency and there will be more announcements being made by other parties involved in this I’m hoping very soon." As of the time of the initial report, neither Fox nor Rock had responded to requests for comment.

Agency Rebranding and Subsequent Developments

Following Rock's resignation, Motley Models announced an acquisition by a private investment group on September 16, 2023. The agency also initiated a rebranding process. Kristen Kaye was identified as the executive leading the agency and conducting the transition on behalf of the investment group. Kaye was designated as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and communication, reachable at [email protected]. Booking inquiries or updates were directed to [email protected].

An internal investigation was launched into the allegations against Dave Rock and other allegations of misconduct within Motley Models. On September 22, 2023, Motley Models, through its legal entity Twice Baked Media, Inc., released a statement regarding the completion of this week-long investigation. The statement announced the immediate termination of the agency's association with longtime booker Ryan Kona. The statement specified that Ryan Kona was no longer associated with Motley Models, Twice Baked Media, Inc., and would not be associated with the to-be-formed new entity.

Earlier in May 2024, Nicole Doshi achieved a legal victory in her contract dispute with Dave Rock, which was noted as being celebrated within the adult industry.
