Naughty America Denies misusing SD college name

A California pornography company denies allegations of illegally using the name of a South Dakota-based college.

National American University accused the porn provider of trademark violations and cyber piracy for its use of Naughty American University and the acronym NAU.

The school’s parent company, Dlorah Inc., filed the federal complaint in Rapid City, where the company is based, against La Touraine Inc., a Nevada corporation based in San Diego.

La Touraine filed its answer to the complaint this week and acknowledges operating under the site names but denies allegations of wrongdoing.
