New York- from www.nydailynews.com – A violin-playing party girl whose battling her estranged investor hubby over sex tapes says she’s “devastated” by his threats to post them online.

“I’d like this matter to go away,” Lily Shang, 24, said Thursday, breaking her silence over the bitter dispute.

“It’s very unfortunate that this private family matter has become public,” she told the Daily News. “It’s truly devastating. It’s a very difficult time.”

Shang is suing husband David Rucker, trying to get a judge to order him not to make videos of their private sex romps public.

Rucker denies her claim that he is threatening to embarass her in a bid to get her to accept a cut-rate divorce settlement.

Shang, who played violin professionally in a symphony orchestra in Quebec, Canada, said the trust between her and Rucker is “broken.”

“A girl doesn’t marry a man without absolutely trusting him – at least most girls don’t. Whatever was done between us was when we were married, when there was that trust,” she told her the Toronto Star.

“No one could imagine that such a thing could be broken,” the Canadian beauty said.

Rucker’s alleged threat to release the footage, shot in the swanky Battery Park City pad they once shared, has “completely broken Lily apart,” a family spokesman and friend said.

“She’s been removed for rest and consolation to a northern property belonging to her family in Canada,” said Lowell Hall, the close family friend. “She’s recuperating and gathering her thoughts.”

Hall blamed Rucker for Shang’s “state of mind,” accusing him of “dangling a hardcore porn movie over his wife’s head to get leverage” in their nasty divorce proceedings.

Rucker, 26, says he never threatened to release the steamy footage.

“It should have never come to this,” said Rucker, a top dog at Golden Archer Investments. “This isn’t how an 18-month-long marriage should turn out.”

The war of words between the couple began Tuesday when Shang’s lawyers asked a judge to stop Rucker from releasing the tawdry tapes.

Rucker told Shang he would post the lurid footage online, and edit himself out, unless the sexy brunette plays ball in divorce negotiations, according to the filing in Manhattan Supreme Court.

She also filed a motion Wednesday asking for spousal support- even though Rucker already pays all her living expenses, he says.

“It would seem rather construed to file these papers back to back,” Rucker said. “I don’t know why she’s pressing to get more money.”

The globetrotting Shang moved from Toronto to New York to pursue a career on Wall Street- and quickly fell for the chromed-domed Rucker.

A regular at posh clubs in the Meatpacking District, she spent lavishly until her marriage hit the skids, friends said.

“Lily was living the lifestyle of a Real Housewife of New York,” said Hall, the family spokesman.

“She loved the nightlife and the shopping and the high life,” he said.

“Now she’s in crisis.”
