from www.radaronline.com – Famed civil rights attorney, Gloria Allred, will be holding a news conference in New York City tomorrow with her client, Alisha Smith [pictured], a New York State Assistant Attorney General who was suspended from her job, after media reports circulated that she was a paid dominatrix.
Smith was allegedly placed on leave without pay before any investigation was initiated, or she had a chance to respond. The New York tabloid report claimed that Smith “spends her days toiling in securities fraud – and her nights moonlighting as a dominatrix…and that she performs at S & M events for pay.”
The press conference will be held at the New York Friars Club at 1 p.m. EST. Stay tuned to RadarOnline.com for developments on the story. Smith will publicly speak for the first time about the allegations made against her.
Back story from www.nypost.com – She’s gone from stock investigator to laughingstock!
Alisha Smith, the buttoned-down assistant state attorney general who whipped up a scandal by moonlighting as a latex-loving dominatrix, is now the butt of office jokes from snickering colleagues who can’t believe the respected lawyer posted online sleazy photos and lurid details of her tawdry excursions in the fetish underground , sources say.
“You got to be out of your f—ing mind putting that stuff on Twitter,” said one source, who works in the same Manhattan office as Smith.
“It’s a joke around here. I think people view it as kind of pathetic,’’ the source said of Smith’s antics.
Smith, 36, was suspended without pay from her $78,825-a-year job with the attorney general Friday after a fetish insider told The Post that she was paid to get her off-hours freak on at bondage and discipline events under the nom de dom Alisha Spark.
The source in the Attorney General’s Office said that if Smith was paid for attending fetish events, she may have violated work rules.
