You never know which lifestyle chevron Nick East is going to be wearing. Adopting the fashionable gulag look, East this week made some comments about Max Hardcore which Skeeter Kerkove didn’t particularly like and elected to answer.

Nick writes back: Dear Gene, The only part of what Skeeter said about me that was true was that I was at Max’s party that night. Period! Anyone who knows me knows that…

So Gene, I thought I had pointed out that I have called Paul Little a friend for many years. I even felt guilty about writing that letter and called him to apologize after it was posted but… That’s the point! Someone who really knows him and cares about him and his welfare still believes he should have treated those girls better and deserves some sort of punishment for his crimes.

Now as far as my finances? How much more proof do new guys in the industry need that they should run for the hills and get out of the adult industry before it messes them up financially too? When I started in the business the male performers were being promoted to directors, there weren’t any television channels (residuals?), and there was no Internet to cross- reference your real name to make sure your fate is sealed!

Now? Male talent is simply grouped together as “Others” in AVN reviews, and twenty year old boys flush faced with 100 mg of Viagra are having priapisms, while recognizable talent (male talent who’ve been around forever, myself included) are being forced out completely! AND being ridiculed by the very people who should be promoting us in the first place!

So to sum it up, Gene?

Where’s the respect for the men who’ve given their very souls to line other peoples pocketbooks with cash? How are we supposed to integrate into the ‘real’ world with such interesting resumes? And why do the new guys think it won’t happen to them?
