from www.celebuzz.com – Nadya Suleman may have appeared in a pornography movie, but that doesn’t mean the notorious Octomom is loosening her morals.
“I still remain celibate to this day – it’s almost 14 years now – and I touch no one but myself [in the film],” the star of Octomom: Home Alone told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview.
The porn debut may come as a surprise to some — or as a great big “told ya so” to naysers: The 37-year-old – who already had six children when she gave birth to octuplets in 2009 — had famously sworn on the The Oprah Show that she would never appear in pornographic films.
Q: Why did she have the change of heart?
“I had to make money quick,” admitted Suleman, whose La Habra, Calif., home went into foreclosure this June.
“I never wanted to delve into the entertainment industry… it was the way to make the most money. As a mother of 14, I accepted that I had to eat my words, and I own that and I’m proud of that. I’m very proud of the film.”
There was an added bonus.
“It was facing one of my ultimate fears: my own sexuality,” Suleman said. “I was always uncomfortable with sexuality in general – so the film was very liberating and empowering.”
But porn flicks aren’t the only venture on Suleman’s horizon: she’s also launching a music career with to a brand-new dance single, “Sexy Party.”
Q: How did it come about?
“It was a fluke,” Suleman admitted. “It was manifested out of Adam Barta, who’s a brilliant talent – a talented singer and top 20 billboard artist. He was doing a song and asked me to add in my voice, just talking, having fun, playing a joke.”
The guest spot led to “Sexy Party” – and its sexy cover photo, which shows a nude Suleman with Barta cupping her bare breasts. Thrown in for good measure: crosses on the wall behind them and a crucifix around Suleman’s neck, a la Madonna.
But Suleman said she never meant to copy the Material Girl.
“I was a fan when I was little – I’d sing her songs on the bus on the way home,” she told Celebuzz. “[But] we weren’t really trying to copy anybody – I believe no one should ever copy another person. Just be accepting of yourself.”
But will her children accept their porn-star/singer mom?
“They’re totally desensitized,” she said of the media fervor that has surrounded the kids.
“We have all been through things together over the years, and our experiences allowed all of us to pull out strengths we never knew we possessed.
Suleman confessed her children even know about her porn venture.
“I raise them in total honesty, but I don’t tell them details,” she said.
At the very least, her new career ventures have helped her financial status.
“We’re in a much, much better place right now, and I’m extremely positive about the future,” she said.
So with a steamy flick and a sexy song, we had to ask: why is Octomom still celibate?
Suleman answered was a bit of a no-brainer. Said the mom of 14: “Who has time with that many children?”
