Official: Edison Having no part of Exxxotica Expo

The organizers of an erotic convention that drew 18,000 people to Edison last year say they’re planning to give patrons a bigger bang for their buck this year.

But Edison officials want EXXXOTICA – a three-day event featuring porn stars and adult products and entertainment – to just go away, the Associated Press reports.

Last year’s EXXXOTICA expo was moved to Raritan Center in Edison after it drew opposition from officials in Secaucus, where it was originally to be held.
Convention organizers say they are planning a bigger convention in Edison in September. But Edison spokesman Jerry Barcia told the AP the township had assurances from the convention center that the event would not be returning.
