EL PASO, Texas — from www.kfoxtv.com – A 23-year-old man is facing charges of sexual performance by a child after police said he used Craigslist to induce a child to engage in sexual conduct with him.

Jacob Alejandro Martinez allegedly used Craigslist to find females and promote them to become porn stars, police said.

Martinez, was contacted by a child under the age of 18, and he induced her to engage in sexual conduct or sexual performance with him, police said.

Police said they were in contact with each other from Oct. 29 to Nov. 25.

The El Paso Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit arrested Martinez Thursday.

Martinez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with bail set at $50,000.

Police said the Craigslist ad was removed and they are continuing their investigation.
