The next highest bids went to pleaser.com ($11.770), gay.info ($9,251), and showersex.com ($5,770). A total of 12 domain names sold at auction for more than $1,000, including stud.net, concubine.com, pimpclub.com, and lingeriebabes.com.

The auction, hosted by SnapNames.com, closed, netting a total of $88,587 in sales for 33 domains, according to TheDomains.com. The InterNEXT 2009 convention was held August 7-9 in Hollywood, FL.

All told, it was not a hugely successful auction, given that there were nearly 2,000 domains on the block, including some sexy bigger ticket names that must not have met the reserve prices. It’s also possible that some of the domains sold in pre-auction deals: As I reported in February, the Erotica.com domain sold for $850,000 in a pre-auction deal before an InterNEXT auction it had been listed in. At this auction, SexBlogs.com was one of the most advance-hyped of the featured domains.

Ten lucky bidders got in at the floor rate of $300, snapping up adult domains like pregoporn.com, coloredpanties.com, prettyfeet.net, humansexualbehavior.com, adultseries.net, yourgirlfriends.com, afterhoursclub.com, massageparlorvideo.com, and coloredbras.com.
