Phony Porn Star

WWW- [NY Post]- Let them eat beefcake!

Go-go dancer Manuel Alex Saez is suing a popular gay magazine for printing a racy, unauthorized picture of him – and identifying him as “Big City Video porn star Alex.”

“He’ll definitely get your sprinklers working,” read the promo for his appearance at a Chelsea club in the Jan. 27 HX, which bills itself as “the hottest guide to gay nightlife and culture in New York City.”

Saez, who’s suing for $1.25 million, was “working at a popular youth-oriented retail clothing store” and moonlighting as a dancer named Alex last January when two club promoters asked for a picture to promote a party.

“Weeks later,” he learned the photo’s caption called him a “Big City Video porn star who would be appearing at Splash.” He says he was fired from his day job in February because of the “gossip and innuendo.”

Phone calls to Splash were not returned, and HX declined comment.
