Pleasure Kicks Off Summer Sex Star Search: Looking for Another Contract Girl

Hightstown, NJ/Van Nuys, CA — It’s summertime! And hot, sexy, scantily clad women streaked with tiny rivulets of sweat are in style. These girls are everywhere – you see them on the beach soaking up sun; they’re in the clubs dancing to pounding beats – and Pleasure Productions wants to make one of them a star!

Pleasure’s national Summer Sex Star Search www.pleasureproductions.net/starsearch kicks off this week, and the company that launched such adult fan favorites as Gina Lynn, Nikki Benz, Krystal Steal and Tera Wray is looking for at least one new contract star.

“If you or someone you know has ever thought about getting into adult movies, now’s the chance,” said John Paone, publicity and marketing manager for Pleasure Productions. “The audience demand for new, fresh talent has never been greater, and Pleasure has been an industry leader for over 20 years by finding and showcasing hot new performers at their early, sexy best.”

Horny hopefuls wishing to join current contract star Tera Wray at Pleasure are required to submit their best 2-3 pictures along with a witty 50-word-or-less reason why they want to be porn royalty, no later than Labor Day (Sept. 3). All submissions will be reviewed, a select few will be interviewed (either by phone or in person), and the winner(s) will be chosen for the ultimate screen test.

“If a girl’s going to make it in porn, we obviously have to see how she moves in front of the camera with another person,” said Paone. “We’ll shoot her in a scripted hardcore scene – complete with dialogue – on one of our regular sets. If she can carry the scene and we like what we see, we’ll use that scene in one of our upcoming releases. If we really like what we see, then it may be time to take the next step.” Paone said the winner will also pose for a series of glamour shots (nude and clothed), and might possibly appear in one of the company’s trade show booths to see how they handle meeting and greeting fans.

“We’re timing this so our ultimate winner(s) will be ready for the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in January, ‘08,” said Paone. “That show is the perfect opportunity for new talent to meet retailers and consumers in one place, and to create relationships that will make people want to watch her movies. Tera Wray was a huge fan favorite at the ’07 show, and her career took off with several personal appearances around the country, excellent DVD sales, and even her own mainstream radio show.”

Think you got what it takes to turn people on? Go to the website – www.pleasureproductions.net/starsearch for complete instructions, rules and entry forms. If you’re in Las Vegas, stop by the Pleasure Cabana at The XBiz Show, July 11-13, for more information. No phone calls or email submissions will be accepted.
