from www.cbc.ca – Two unusual robberies, involving a prostitute and her clients, are being investigated by Regina police.
The first case was reported to authorities around 10:19 p.m. CST Friday.
“An adult male came to the police station and reported that he had been forcibly confined, assaulted and robbed after paying for and engaging in a sex act with an adult female sex trade worker,” Staff Sgt. Corey Zaharuk said Saturday morning.
According to Zaharuk, the john was surprised by another man who was in the house.
“Once the sex act was completed, an adult male from inside the residence emerged, armed with a weapon and demanded money, an ATM card and PIN number,” Zaharuk said.
The alleged victim complied and was then forcibly confined to the house while his bank account was drained.
The investigation led police to a home in the 1100 block of McTavish Street in Regina, which police said looked vacant.
However, it was anything but.
“Once outside and near the home, [officers] witnessed a sex act between an adult female and adult male occurring inside,” Zaharuk explained.
“This sex act was interrupted by a male emerging from another area of the home armed with a weapon,” he continued. “The armed male began advancing toward the male engaged in the sex act.”
That’s when police made their move, entering the home and arresting the man with the weapon and the prostitute.
Charges have not yet been laid.
