You’d think his good looks would have been enough.
Illinois – from www.triblocal.com – A 48-year-old Rockdale man who allegedly tried using pornographic magazines instead of candy or flowers to meet women has been charged with felony stalking/causing personal distress.
Joliet police arrested Bradley E. Drew Monday afternoon after officers on a stakeout saw him place a magazine on a car, Deputy Chief Mike Trafton said Tuesday.
Police took Drew into custody for disorderly conduct, stalking and littering.
Trafton said the arrest responded to two women commuters’ complaints that they found pornography when they returned to their cars. The woman whose car was involved in Monday’s arrest had complained of five prior incidents, while the second woman had complained of one incident, he said. The complaints began in early December, Trafton said.
Drew’s current Class 4 felony charge relates to an alleged Dec. 9 offense. Accompanying misdemeanor disorderly-conduct charges relate to alleged Dec. 3 and Dec. 28 incidents.
Under questioning by police, Drew said he thought the women were pretty and wanted to get their attention, Trafton said.
