WACO, Texas- www.kxxv.com- – Some Central Texas residents say they got an eyeful of smut Sunday evening while watching a telethon on the public television station KWBU in Waco. Around 6:40 p.m. a few seconds of hardcore pornography flitted across the screen, according to one viewer who informed us of the offense. She says her 14-year-old daughter was in the room at the time.
A KWBU official tells News Channel 25 they received several complaints from concerned viewers during and immediately following the show about the pornography.
At this time it’s unknown where the images came from or why they appeared for only a few seconds. During this year’s Super Bowl, thousands of Tuscon residents experienced a similar scenario when roughly 30 seconds of pornography appeared during the big game. The cable company Comcast decided to make amends by giving its Arizona viewers who saw the content $10.
This time around the viewers all seemed to have cable, but possibly from different companies. News Channel 25 contacted Time Warner Cable which allegedly carried it. A spokeswoman for the company tells us there is no evidence the problem was on their end. She added they take a feed from KWBU.
