I am told this is what’s happening. According to an industry insider: “An Email is being sent out to tons of female porn stars. This has been going on for approx 2 months now.

“Everything is urgent, they want the girl to come right away; the girl gets on the plane (paid for with her own money); you’re told you need to go here and do this and that & meet him [the drummer] here because he’s busy doing signings, etc; the assistant makes it all sound very real.

“When the girl arrives, they ask her to get a rental car (the credit card they give her to use is stolen).

“One girl I heard was already arrested for Grand Theft Auto of the rental car & they got her for having drugs in the rental car too. The girl never gets reimbursed for anything; it’s a total scam. Smart girls figure out the scam early and get out after losing plane, hotel, and cash.

“Sometimes the fake drummer doesn’t show up, and the assistant gets the cash and then runs off. It’s happened already to at least four porn stars. I’m sure there are more out there I don’t know about. This person needs to be stopped. The fake drummer looks very sick like he’s dying of aids.

“The girls say the assistant person is crazy and his behavior may get worse and there’s a possibility he may start physically harming the girls. These girls aren’t checking references and are just agreeing blindly to go meet these people.

“Girls you still need to screen, even in a bad economy, because you could be killed/raped. When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Warning to all porn stars out there/models/anyone else being contacted, do NOT go meet these people.

Hello my name is rob ….. i am the owner of the firm inc we are a management co that represents a list of various musicians one of the groups we represent is the band …… the drummer ….. has recently seen your ad and had wanted me to schedule an appt with you while he was away from home (as he lives in L.A.) so he can enjoy his tim with you as he wants to go out and do things as this would be for a day possibly two depending how well you two ge along now that he is now in miami as this is the first opportunity for him to be able to do this if you would be willing to travel out there to see him for at least one evening we would take care of all your travel arrangements (ie car hotel flight ect) as well as all the costs for this and have all your confirmations e mailed to you asap please
