Porno Dan Debuts Show on KSEX

Porn Valley- Pretty soon everyone in the world will have a show on KSEX, and no one left to listen to them.

This week along with the announcement that Gary Garver will be starting an afternoon show on Thursdays, Porno Dan, with the hair now blond looking like Colin Farrell in Alexander the Great, made his KSEX debut Monday night.

Dan had on Miss Bunny who was last seen on KSEX a couple of weeks ago. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=24752.

Dan said his show was a result of a partnership his corporation signed with KSEX.

“We’re going to be doing a mobile site for KSEX,” he announced. “Hopefully the preview site will be up next week which is midnightmonkey.com.

“And you’ll soon be able to watch all your favoite KSEX shows on cellphone,” he adds. Dan said his show will focus on girls who’ve been in porn or doing website work less than a year.

“I’ve been in the adult industry for eight years on the east coast,” he continued.

“I just moved here less than three months ago. I’m a pro-am producer. I put out roughly one DVD a week. One of my series is called Amateur Orgies, another is Coed Cumfest, another is East Coast Gangbangs- they’e a bunch of fun, silly titles if you ever see my work. I don’t take myself very seriously at all. If you can’t laugh at yourself what can you laught at? I try to have as much fun in this business as I can.”

His official site is www.pornodan.com.

Miss Bunny said she’s been almost a year in LA. Dan and Bunny knew one another back on the east coast and worked together before. She lived in Philly, he in DC then moved to Baltimore.

Miss Bunny, www.missbunny.com is best known from HBO’s G-String Divas. Her main project for now is her website She also mentioned that she just started doing hardcore a couple of months ago.

Asked of it was different than in her personal life, she said you have to play to the camera a little bit.

“The stuff I shoot is pro-am and I get to direct it,” she says. “There’s less pressure for me to be performing like someone else wants to see me. My members are usually happy.”

Dan said people probably don’t know this but the way porn is shot on the west coast differs from the way it’s done on the east coast.

“it’s more of the real amateur style,” he says. “It’s not 15 minutes in one position, then you stop then ten minutes in the next position.” He calls it happy sex.

“I like porn but I personally enjoy the amateur stuff where the camera angles aren’t as good but everyone seems to be enjoying the fucking,” Miss Bunny agrees.

“I don’t think anyone’s said my stuff is the most professional looking porn,” Dan says. “But I enjoy it and have fun with it.”

For future shows, said Dan, girls will be competing to win new girl of the week, but because the premier show came about on short notice, Bunny’s the automatic winner.

“In the future fans will be able to vote for different girls competing for the new girl of the week,” he said. Not indicating who it was, Dan announced that starting next week an AVN Hall of Famer will be his weekly co-host.

“We’ve worked together an awful lot.”

Recapping her career, Bunny said she was fascinated by fetish when she was a teenager and started fetish modeling at age 18 and doing fetish fashion shows. She also modeled for a store and a company that makes fetish clothing.

“Like stage and niteclub fashion shows,” she adds. “And I did a lot of their print ads. I got to work with a lot of interesting photographers and that was cool.”

After deciding that Detroit wasn’t a big enough city for her, she moved to Philadelphia.

“I took a job working in retail and shortly after, I broke up with a boyfriend I moved in with,” she goes on to saY. “I realized I wasn’t going to be able to afford my rent on South Street working retail. I took a job as a stripper. A couple of weeks after starting as a stripper, Tony Ward came in and asked me to pose for Penthouse for him.”

Bunny said Ward shoots a lot of interesting b&w, grainy stuff.

“He has a lot of books published. But I had no idea who he was. I was new to Philly and no one had actually taken a naked picture of me before. I turned him down and he swears to this day I’m the only person who’s turned him down. So he asked again. And I was in Penthouse- November of 1999.”

Dan said he started in the business October of ’99.

Bunny says she enjoys shooting for magazines and still does.

“I generally go back to New York to shoot for those. I’m in Leg Show once a year.”

Bunny started dancing at Club Eisque which is outside of Philly, in Bristol.

“I didn’t want to work close to my house,” she explained. Nevertheless she said she had people try to follow her home a couple of times.

“I attract stalkers. I should be flattered but it’s still kind of weird.”

According to her, the club put her ads on billboards and took her to Vegas for one of the Exotic Dancer conventions.

“Then other people started to see me and I eventually met a club owner who suggested me for the HBO series.”

“It was also shot in Philly but it was in a club that I didn’t work very much. I took the job there because I wanted to be on the show.”

“It was a 12-part series and done by the same people that did Real Sex,” she continues. “It was supposed to be a reality show. But they were calling it a documentary series.”

“They wanted to cast strippers with different looks and personalities and were going to follow us around in our real lives. Of course there was some nudity on stage thrown in for good measure.”

“I think they were sort of looking for a brainy one and so during my interview someone asked me what I wanted to be when I was growing up. I told them I wanted to be a Supreme Court justice. I could see them going this girl is crazy. I think I was thrown in there for contrast with the other girls. But I am chatty.”

Dan wondered how much of that show is scripted and staged.

“Everything that was in my episode was sort of scripted,” she said. “They asked me what I wanted to be seen doing on my show. There was a photo shoot I did, me sort of training with a couple of future dancers- and they set all that up. And then they show me at the end doing a feature show at the club. The other girls didn’t have ideas of their own so they sort of set things up.”

Some drama wasn’t scripted, she said, like the two girls who were sleeping with the same owner of the club.

“That was really going on and they were fighting with each other. I was so angry that they put that on the show.”

“But it’s reality and that’s what makes good TV,” she adds. “And they took hours and hours of footage of me and edited down to 27 minutes.”

For those 27 minutes, she said the show took over her life for nearly eight months.

“And when you have a camera crew following you around and you’re trying to work as a house girl, you don’t make a penny.”

Bunny also revealed that the guys shown getting lap dances were paid extras.

“One day a bus load of extras came in. They didn’t have a problem with being on television.”

By the same token, Dan said a couple friends of his were ringers on HBO’s Cathouse, posing as customers.
