Porn Valley: Flashpoint Productions announces the launch of www.sandybunz.com.

“The site is a membership site,” says owner Sandy Bunz who would not lead you to believe for one second that that’s his real name. But because Bunz is noted for plastering his bare ass on the sands of naked beaches on weekends, it kind of makes sense.

“With the site we have a complete shopping cart for DVDs and VHS purchases,” Bunz adds. “It kind of highlights all the outdoor scenes of Flashpoint Productions with fresh and young faces from San Diego, Riverside, Orange County, Ventura County, L.A. County. That’s the hook.”

According to Bunz, Flashpoint has been around for three years. “I started co-producing for Mike Esposito of Gentlemen’s Video. The I went on to distribute my own titles beginning with Beach Blanket and Creamed Filled Chocolates, On the Beach, titles like that.” Bunz currently has 46 titles of which 29 are in DVD format. “I’m selling to all the major distributors nationwide,” he adds. “We also sell to retail stores and outlets. The Internet site now avails us of the opportunity to sell directly to the public.”

Bunz says a lot of work goes into starting up a video company. “I also have a lot of thanks and appreciation for [salesman] Howard Specht. He helped me with certain stepping stones along the way.”

Bunz acquired his name from a habit of frequenting nude beaches in Orange County and other places along with his 95-pound pit bull. “He’s a very nice dog,” Bunz hastens to add, knowing that the inclination is to cover your nuts under such circumstances.

“I started thinking to myself if I’m going to get into this X-rated game, what kind of name would I use.” Bunz said his real name is too close to Dave Cummings’ and he didn’t want to invite confusion.

“Nude beaches are a great place to relax [and shoot],” says Bunz. “On a Saturday or Sunday afternoon during the summer there’s 3,000 people out there. People bring their ice chests full of beer and they’re smoking exotic herbs and spices. And there’s lots of goings on among free-spirited people having a lot of fun. It’s a neat place to hang out and cheap entertainment. A nude beach is very tranquil. You can take a dog there like my pit bull.”
