Saturday Night’s F.A.M.E. Awards Preview

Los Angeles- The 2008 F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment) Awards are pleased to announce that their Internet voting system has recorded more than 103,000 ballots for the second straight year as fans flooded www.thefameawards.com to choose their favorite adult stars, movies, directors and companies.

The winners will be announced at a star-studded live event set for 9 p.m., this Saturday, June 7, on the main stage at Erotica LA. Once again, the F.A.M.E. Awards are providing the winner for “Favorite Female Star” with a Tiffany’s Pearl Necklace and the “Favorite Male Star” with a Movado watch with a blue diamond encased in it.

The 2008 F.A.M.E. Awards will follow an A-list red carpet event beginning at 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. by the main stage featuring a who’s who in adult entertainment.

Stars and adult industry professionals wishing to take part in the red carpet and attend the awards show may contact [email protected] for entry information and reservations. Stars and adult industry professionals already in attendance at Erotica LA may pick up reserved seating passes at the F.A.M.E. booth on the show floor.

Scheduled attendees and presenters include Tera Patrick, Stormy Daniels, Dave Navarro, Belladonna, Bree Olson, Sasha Grey, Jenna Haze, Gina Lynn, Tory Lane, Amber Lynn, Tommy Gunn, Ginger Lynn, Penny Flame, Sunny Leone, Hillary Scott, Ron Jeremy, Mr. Marcus, Jessica Drake, Nina Mercedez and many more of the adult industry’s best, biggest and brightest.

The show and red carpet will air on Sunday, June 15 at 9 p.m. (PST) on RudeTV.com, the exclusive broadcast partner for the 2008 F.A.M.E. Awards. RudeTV’s Wankus, Nicki Hunter, Jason Sechrest and Dakoda Brookes will host the broadcast.

Hosted by Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane and Wicked Pictures contract star Randy Spears, this year’s F.A.M.E. Awards promises to be the most entertaining one yet. It also marks the debut of F.A.M.E.’s “Fan’s First Look” – exclusive sneak previews of the adult industry’s biggest movies coming in the next year from companies such as Adam & Eve Pictures, Digital Playground, SexZ Pictures, Teravision, Vivid, Wicked Pictures and more.

The F.A.M.E. Awards were created in 2006 by executive sponsors and show creators Genesis Magazine (www.genesismagazine.com), Adam & Eve (www.adameve.com), WantedList.com and AVN.com as a way for fans to honor their favorite adult film stars, directors, movies and companies. It is the first show where the fans take part in the entire process -from choosing the finalists to ultimately selecting the winners in over a dozen categories. The 2008 F.A.M.E. Awards are co-sponsored by MyCams.com, RudeTV.com, HotMovies.com, PinkVisual.com and Erotica LA.
