The Jackie Chiles Attorney at Law award goes to porn industry lawyers Terik Hashmi and Kenneth J. Ford.
Hashmi has been representing Third Degree Films around the country against individuals who have been uploading and downloading its movies on BitTorrent. But the campaign hit a snag in Florida on Thursday when three of the defendants in the case notified the court that Hashmi was not licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
Kenneth J. Ford of Martinsville, West Virginia filed more than 22,000 “John Doe” lawsuits in 2010 against people across the country. And just last month Ford, an attorney who had been seeking damages from downloaders of such classics as Teen Anal Nightmare 2, was charged with a felony for forging a court order and defrauding a client.

The Show Me the Money award goes to Joe Francis.
This week Joe was ordered to cough up a cool $7.5 million to cover damages after a five year dispute between him and Steve Wynn.
It began in 2007 when Wynn filed suit against Francis for failing to pay back the $2 million marker he reportedly owed the Wynn Las Vegas Casino.
The lawsuit later intensified when Francis threatened to expose the ways in which the casino head “deceives his high-end customers.” The statement, which originally triggered Wynn to file a $10,000 defamation lawsuit, ultimately ended in a $5 million settlement, with an additional $2.5 million in punitive damages.
