The cast includes Jewel Diamant, VMG exclusive contract stars Serenity Cox and Jessi Rae, and Jason Luv, along with a supporting ensemble. The story of Equilibrium follows three sisters and the philosopher Jason, portrayed by Jason Luv. The narrative draws on ancient myth and feminine archetypes, moving between a surface world of duty and appearances and an underworld of the psyche where desire manifests physically. Jason moves through the lives of the three sisters, taking what he wants without giving his best.

Serenity Cox portrays the sister described as a "gold-dusted goddess" who presides over the underworld. This character is depicted as one no man can possess, asking men who seek her for their best. She has achieved a balance that her sisters are still seeking. In episode 2, two men enter her world and meet her demands. Cox stated that Equilibrium allowed her to explore a more creative, sensual, and dreamlike role, different from her usual performances. She expressed excitement about playing the goddess character, viewing her as representing a confident, beautiful, and deeply sexual side. Cox found bringing this energy to life empowering.

In episode 2 of Equilibrium, Serenity Cox performs her first double penetration scene. She is featured opposite Seth Gamble and Vince Karter. Cox described shooting her first official d.p. scene as a special experience. She stated that Seth Gamble and Vince Karter were excellent scene partners who made her feel comfortable, allowing her to embody the goddess character. This scene marks Cox's 13th collaboration with Vixen Media Group since she signed on as an exclusive contract star in 2024.
